An Assignment Statement places a value into a variable. The operator which is used to set an assignment is represented with an equal sign (=). The operator works by assigning a value on the right side of the operator to the variable on the left side of it. It is possible for the same variable to hold different values at different instants of time.
You can drag an Assign block and drop it inside a workflow working area when a green field appears. Doing so makes it a part of that workflow.
Enter the information in the provided fields.
- Enter the Variable name within the first field of the Assign block to specify with which Variable the Value is going to be associated.
- Enter the Value in the second field of the Assign block to specify the information that the Variable is going to use as a reference.
To disable an Assign Block without deleting it, click on the Disable checkbox.
