Before You Begin

Navigate to Admin > System Configuration > SMTP Server

About the Task

The SMTP (simple mail transfer protocol) configuration allows one to set up the "email" block to send notifications or reset a forgotten password.

In order for this functionality to work, you must configure your SMTP settings.

Procedure

There are two SMTP server settings to customize: server hostname and port.

Setting

Server Hostname

The hostname of your SMTP Server (e.g. smtp.gmail.com)

Port

The port of your SMTP Server–preset is 25
